For the 16^th time, the Cultural Office of the City of Leipzig collaborates with the Center of Jewish Life Ariowitsch-House to organize a week-long programme of more than 100 events in celebration of Jewish culture. More than 60 institutions will be involved in hosting encounters, shows, concerts and many other activities during Leipzig Jewish Week.

For the 16th time the Gewandhaus Orchestra warmly invites you to celebrate the end of the concert season with the Klassik Airleben open-air concert. Enjoy the power of music and an animated atmosphere together with the Gewandhaus Orchestra on two summer evenings. This year the programme will include works by Johann Strauss (son) to celebrate his 200^th birthday and many other composers.
