Museum Night Halle and Leipzig

09.05.2026 from 6pm to midnight

Under the theme ‘Nachtgestalten’ (night creatures), 90 museums, galleries and collections in Halle and Leipzig will be offering a varied programme ranging from history and art to music, nature and technology. From guided tours and concerts to films and activities for children and young people, there is something for all age groups and interest. A single ticket grants access to all participating museums and everyone is welcome to participate.

 a cappella – International Festival for Vocal Music

01.05 – 09.05.2026

The International “a cappella” Festival in Leipzig takes place every year and features concerts and special events all focused on vocal music without instruments. Artists from around the world perform different styles of a cappella on various stages across the city.

The festival also includes a competition for young vocal groups and is led by the well-known ensemble amarcord. With its wide range of performances and unique atmosphere, it is a special highlight in Leipzig’s cultural scene and beyond.
