In our workshop, you will learn what a great application letter should look like using real examples. We will look at the cover letter, the CV in tabular form and the overall structure of the application, including the attachments. We will use a checklist so that you can apply all the important details when writing your own application.

"Have you just moved into your first flat or flat share? In this free 90-minute interactive information event, you will receive important practical tips on all aspects of housing.                       
 
 Living together in a shared house or flat is tied to many unwritten rules. For many people who are new to Germany, these are unknown or more or less obvious. The following topics will therefore be explained in this information event to ensure harmonious coexistence with neighbours and/or flatmates:

- How does living together in a shared flat/house share work?
- What are liability and contents insurance?
- How does the waste separation system work?
- How do I heat properly to save money?
- Why do I have to ventilate several times a day? And how?

The weact contact and advice centre is aimed at people who are affected by racism and discrimination. We want to support those affected by providing low-threshold counselling services to help them deal with their experiences of racism and strengthen their ability to act through systemic support.

Depending on the number of people registered, the counselling session can last between 45 and 60 minutes. Counselling sessions are available in German, English, French, Spanish or Portuguese and our counselling is critical of power, intersectional, solidary and trusting.
