Weinfest (wine festival) | September 9 – 13

Wine makers from the region offer more than 200 different wines and champagne, as well as grape juice, liqueur and vinegar. The festival is an excellent opportunity to taste and enjoy local products.

Kammermusikfestival für Clara (chamber music festival) | September 18 – 22

The festival’s name refers to the piano virtuoso Clara Wieck. It invites to various events like symphony concerts, chamber music, exhibitions, ballet, theater, readings, performances concerts etc. The events take place at different locations within the city center.

Finissage “History in Fashion” | September 19, 7.30-8.00pm

The closing of the exhibition “History in Fashion”, compiled by the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle and the Hochschule Macromedia Leipzig, gives visitors the chance to see the fashion items embedded into a performance.
