We would like to invite you the new exhibition  at Panometer Leipzig – Titanic.

The focus of TITANIC is less on the actual disaster of 1912 than it is on the sinking of the passenger liner as an example of the hubris of man, who attempts and invariably fails to dominate nature with his creative efforts.

The observer is treated to a view of the shipwreck some 3800 metres below sea level. Artificial lighting allows visitors to discover the tragic proportions of this disaster. Recognisable are both the wreck, broken into two pieces and the vast amount of everyday items, technical equipment and luggage surrounding it.

This project is currently in planning and will open at Leipzig’s Panometer in January 2017.
