Lindenau is a district in the west of Leipzig. On August 31, there will be a festival in the streets and backyards of Lindenau. It is the second time this festival takes place. This event offers visitors various activities for people of every age. A diversified program will enliven the stage with different kinds of music and dance shows. Different bands and choirs, a folklore dance group and others will perform their shows during the day.
Besides the stage, visitors can meet different projects, associations and public institutions of Leipzig’s west. At the booths, visitors can get information about these projects. Moreover, in the backyards small flea markets are taking place where neighbors can buy stuff from each other and get in contact. In addition, children can learn at different booths something about first aid or upcycling. The festival offers activities for young and old.
