This summer, the Leipzig Research Centre Global Dynamics (ReCentGlobe) of Leipzig University organizes the research festival GLOBE21 for the first time. The new festival format is designed as an annually recurring event and invites citizens from everywhere to discuss pressing topics and fascinating questions with scientists. Under the hashtag #BorderCrossingSolidarities, the festival explores moments of solidarity in tackling global challenges. Starting from June 10, different events like podcasts, film screenings, GLOBE|Talks and -|Dialogues, exhibitions, lectures, panel discussions and city tours feature the question: “Where are the limits of global solidarity?”.
